Iris ID Systems Inc has been formed in spin-off from LG Electronics USA Iris Technology Division
The Iris ID IrisAccess is now in its 3rd Generation of Access Control camera, and now includes a hand held unit, the iCAM TD100. Aditech has been working with LG since they first started producing Iris Recognition Systems, and so has built up a wealth of experience and knowledge with their products, and as a result, not only do we offer sales and support on the current systems, we also offer support and repair options for the previous generations of LG IrisAccess equipment, which are the LG 2200 and the LG 3000.
The IrisAccess 4000 series is a dual eye, auto focus camera, making enrolment and recognition easier and more accurate than ever before. Improved visual user interface enables users to quickly position themselves for enrolment or recognition as images of both eyes are captured virtually simultaneously. Audio prompts improve speed of enrolment and recognition performance while motor-driven auto-tilt mechanism makes adjusting the camera for proper height a simple ‘one touch of a finger’ proposition. What’s more, every model of the IrisAccess 4000 contains a camera with dedicated lighting, which can be used to capture a face shot of the user on enrolment.
The IrisAccess ICU4000 allows a Wiegand connection to connect into an existing access control solution, or by adding the DCU also, you can use the system as a standalone access control solution.
The IrisAccess 4000 also has the option of a built in card reader on all units, and a keypad on the 4100 series, which can allow multi-authentication from a single device. Card reader-equipped models of iCAM4000 and iCAM4100 are designated with a 10 suffix, so become 4010 and 4110 respectively.
There are a number of different solutions which we now offer, including the IrisAccess CMS , a smart card based system which no longer requires an ICU, the INSiDE software which is designed for booking in of prisoners and the SoHo solution for small home or office systems.
The iCAM TD100 is a Handheld Dual Iris capture device. Previous handheld iris recognition systems required significant cooperation and for a subject to remain completely motionless in order to capture high quality iris images. Iris ID has developed a series of algorithms which provide the capability to capture iris images while either the person or the device is in motion. The “iris in motion” capability helps to realize new horizons in market applications for the technology.
